Of course the game has a high player retention, it is still fairly new. Give it a month and see if that is still the case. If players are still playing it, then you can gloat.
@CyborgKing
Oh lighten up. Some of you guys get your panties all twisted for no big reason. The guy's just trying to be silly. Relax.
This is the most retarded reply I have ever received. So if you have been loyal to a console company (Nintendo, Microsoft or Sony), and now decide to jump ship because the newly released console can run better looking and smoother games, that's just plain bandwagon hopping. I bet anything you are that exact person I'm talking about.
If you are switching because of power, you are just a bandwagon follower.
You have to respect their unwillingness to die. Thinkgeek and now this, among the other methods they are trying to employ, give you the impression whoever is running the show is using any way possible to continue to operate. As much flak as we give Gamestop, the more avenues to purchase games is a good thing; even if their used games selling practices are frowned upon.
I agree we can dictate a lot that these big publishers do. While I'm not against publishers making extra money from games consumers have purchased, it has to be done right. DLC that adds to a game and isn't locked on the disc that has already been purchased, I'm ok paying for. But paying to strengthen your character or something along those lines is grimey.
Cause, 100 and blu-ray. Which one is stupid again?
Seeing these kinds of comparisons makes me even happier that I decided to purchase the X. While visuals are not the most important part of a game to me (I prefer performance), it helps immerse you more in the experience.
I agree. If you can spend $499.99 for a console, a 4TB external hard drive at around $100 shouldn't be an issue.
@Jinger
Where did you order from?
I think the simplicity of hooking up a box to a TV and playing advanced games not found on a mobile device will always be sought after. I remember a few years back, experts would say how the mobile platform will catch up to consoles graphics wise and kill off that market. What we are seeing is the opposite. The Switch is doing great, Sony has been doing great, and if preorders are to go by, the Xbox One X will do nicely. I'll always prefer consoles over a mobile device any day of the week...
Probably Sony fanboys starting a smear campaign.
I would love Melee. It was my favorite.
Sad thing is an old game, and I mean old (Halo 3), will still offer better multiplayer than any PS4 game. And if anyone says Destiny or COD is better, well I'll say those are on Xbox One too. So this whole thing where Xbox owners are excited to play old games... well yeah, because those games can't be found on a Sony platform.
I never said the resolution was important. Don't assume that was what my comment meant. I just get annoyed when there is this hoopla about resolution being at a certain level and when it's not the case, people freak out. That's why I said "I'll wait for Nintendo". Comprehension is your friend.
They always say how it runs at "1080p". Then they'll say it was a mistranslation or it's 1080 upscaled. I'll wait for Nintendo.
I find it hilarious there is only 1 full minority. Can you imagine his day to day experiences in Stardew?
I always wondered what's the big deal with Sony's "XrossMediaBar". I think it's the worst UI. Sure, it does what it is supposed to do. I just think it's boring and bland.
Serves them right. As of right now, I'm not purchasing the game. I understand the video game industry is in the business of offering entertainment to make money. But these tactics have gone too far. DLC is one thing. But charging to get ahead in the game is ridiculous.
For these kind of games, 30 is OK. If they were sports, racing or a shooter, I would prefer 60fps.
